About Me đź™…
I hail from the state of Bihar, India, but I’ve spent most of my life in Gujarat. In general, I’m passionate about building things. The feeling of ownership -- from idea to execution -- is what drew me toward pursuing a PhD. That said, I’m always amazed by the marvels of engineering around us, and I often think about the time and effort poured in by the people who create things without which our lives would be far more difficult. What specifically interests me keeps shifting with time, but it usually revolves around computers.
While I love building, I also genuinely enjoy learning new concepts. And by “learning,” I don’t mean picking up a new cuisine, musical instrument, or spoken language. I mean learning things that help me grow professionally - new programming languages, foundational concepts I missed during undergrad, and whatever else sparks my curiosity. Part of this comes from a natural desire to understand how things work, and the other part comes from that very human urge to be the most knowledgeable person in the room.
My greatest strength is retrospection. I usually figure out what went wrong in a situation and how I can improve myself—sometimes a bit late, but better late than never, right? So if my initial reaction ever seems impulsive, rest assured I will think it through and course-correct over time.
At the moment, I don’t have any specific hobbies, but I enjoy almost all group activities – playing sports (any sport, really), a game of poker, or even indulging in lunchtime gossip. Food is my comfort zone, and once I latch onto something I like, I absolutely hate changing my eating habits.
If you’ve ever met me, you already know I love memes. I enjoy comedy in all its forms—from the innocent chaos of Mr. Bean to the deliciously dark humor of stand-up comedians. These days I don’t come across memes as much, since I quit social media in 2024, but I still enjoy laughing and observing the world in my own way.
